Deja Vu, too. My reading assignment was about Asian discrimination, yellowface in the early film industry, and... the historically stereotyped caricature in the Chinese dance.

Literally, I was reading about it and doing the homework 12 hours ago. Now I'm listening to music while I work, I pull up this video, Pokemon Blue being one of my earliest video games so this song is thus one of my earliest musical memories... and I learn from the comments that the MELODY IS LIFTED FROM THE DIVERTISSEMENT OF THE BALLET I WAS READING ABOUT LAST NIGHT ?!

this world just feels like a simulation sometimes.

Can't believe its been 22 years since this game came out. I haven't played a Pokemon game since gen 3. Red and Blue are among my favorite games to this very day. I tried to get my 9 year old into Pokemon but all he wan'ts to play is Fortnight, Overwatch and Roblox. Kids these days don't know what good gaming is...

Bulbasaur can get you through 2 gyms then has a resistance to the next 2. The only 2 he would be weak against would be Sabrina and blaine.
