I think the best headcanon Ive seen is that escape rope and dig are just about finding your way out.

So little diglett uses its excellent geolocating senses that it uses to dig to find a safe path out.

I like this track. Ahh, such memories! That's when I evolved my Gloom into Vileplume at level 50. I just love how Nintendo used a company building as a make-shift Team Rocket hideout. I remember pretending using my Dad's building as a base.

Soon I started hating Sliph Co - giant building, full of Team Rockets, weird teleportation tiles and this creepy music... The only memories I have of this song is the frustration of the warp panels and half your Pokemon have taken a beating from the rockets... and worst part is at that time my battery life was running low like very low... I was like "nooo" I didn't have anymore spare batteries lol

I had no idea how you were supposed to get the Card Key as a child. Little did I know you were suppose to take the warp panel, then take the warp panel back, and then get the key. My 5 year old brain could not figure that out. I just kept taking the warp panel and getting warped to the other floor 😂 and then the other side was blocked by the Grunt

I like how Game Developers like to toy with the player in this game; they make him/ her step on every warp tile just to get to the top! When: there's actually a Much simpler way, just go to 5F and grab that Card Key!

I remember the day I was just 9 years old trying to figure out how to finally reach the warp pannel I needed to get to. I lost my mind really, I was running inside this building for atleast 2-3 days straight. When I finally found that warp pannel that you just had to use again in order to walk the right direction, I was like omfg. finally. FINALLY. This song is in my head for eternity haha

I still remember the pattern to Giovanni. 3rd floor, go down and left a bit. Take the teleporter, beat Gary and get a free Lapras from some dude. Take the next teleporter, and there you are. Only problem is that you need the card key first.

Damn, I used to hate this play because I was the kind of player that wanted every freaking room clean of Grunts before going with Giovanni. Like one or 2 hours to finish the whole building. xD Nevertheless, this song is greatly nostalgic, I miss a lot those days. =(

@chrisalain In these old games one thing that was awesome was if a pokemon is given to you like Lapras and Eevee, and Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle in yellow you did not need to have room in your party, they were sent right to your PC if your party was full (Your PC couldn't be full though).

This creepy music has sense because, before the release of Pkmn Green, Silph was a mafia organization, and the design we have now of Blaine was the one of "Silph chief" that whe should have fought. Silph co was corrupted by Team Rocket and all of scientiest around were corrupted as well. Blaine (Katsura) original design instead was the one with the hair on the sides of the head and with the military jacket. So, in this prototype, every time the player buys an item, he finances the Kanto mafia.
