1) Pollyanna is a female-fronted band from Old Bridge, New Jersey. They describe their style as "loud, abrasive power punk band with pop structures."
2) Pollyanna was an Australian indie/alternative rock band formed in 1993 as Blue Trike by Matt Handley on lead vocals and lead guitar (ex-Catherine Wheel) and Maryke "Rayke" Stapleton on bass guitar and vocals. The band consisted of, at various times, Matt Handley, Maryke Stapleton, Ace Moley, Andy Strachan, Shaun Lohoar, Glenn Maynard and Serge Luca.

As a Brazilian, I am so used to this kind of larvae that honestly I knew the bacon trick would not work for this one. The bacon trick works for Dermatobia hominis larvae, the one this girl has is Cochliomya hominivorax aka miiase and the only way to treat is: Remove manually and as fast as possible all the larvae. South America is a tropical region, for that reason, these types of flys are common here and so are their larvae, this is actually not so common in humans and a lot more common in injured street animals PLUS hygiene has a MAJOR factor, someone that takes multiple showers a day is less likely to be a big sweaty pile of meat, and less likely to be an attractive egg-laying-nest for them.
