Yeah, this was made years earlier. I think the two are completely unrelated. Can't be a prequel because as far as I can tell the Virtual Reality Simulator in "Shelter" was built for the sole purpose of keeping Rin-chan entertained in space until the new course was then engaged by the ship's programming. It was also developed by her father from what i can tell. So I think this video and "Shelter" are two entirely different worlds. So either this one also takes place in a virtual reality in another world, or that girl is tripping balls while riding a motor bike. But from what I can tell it's almost as if the explosion sends her into some kind of euphoria. So.. yeah either tripping balls or virtual reality.

I really like the story told in this video. I think she blew an emp in the city because she was tired of her life with all the technology and people trying to run her life. She wanted a simpler life, so she started fresh, and even her bike changed to a normal one as she escaped to her utopia or paradise. Every time I hear this song all I think about is starting fresh and to follow what my heart tells me. Thanks Mat Zo and Porter Robinson for the inspiration, its such a great song.
