I love the way the drums completely deconstruct the music halfway through. I want more music like this. Can anyone recommend me anything? Jazz, electronica or even rock.

Great music. Perfect for building spreadsheets. And i really appreciate uploading high resolution samples. I'm off to iTunes to purchase tonight.

the drums sound fucking sick, the production value of this whole thing is very satisfying. I wish the live drums were brought out abit more, im not sure if the electronic drums are an attempt to make the music more accessible.. but i guess it did work in seperating them from the majority of underground jazz

Nice work James - as ever.

I think you might dig the band Storm and Stress (features members of Don Caballero if that tells you anything) I would also recommend The Necks if you like the minimalism and vibe of Portico Quartet, one the only bands so far I've found with similar vibe (other than maybe Tortoise and Do Make Say Think, but that might be a stretch)

Great music guys! :D
Maurício Fontana
guys, try this song in reverse. the result is almost exactly the same as the normal version of it. portico quartet's guys are geniuses.
