Your main
Your main
Your main
I dream
I dream
the dream
And I like it
the drinks in the goldcups
I doubt no more and I show no fear
So I did you wanna hear where we go in next seen
talkin talkin to a lady in my aim
waiting waiting for a gentle kiss my gentle miss
Did you mind no where I got to you
you are mine
you wanna be dreamed to
Did you mind nowhere I want to
you are mine
I told her attracting you
And dreams go on
And dreams
And I like it
the neons
the drop lets
they make it all shine bright
took yourself to the heart of my babe
I leave up to you
where put your prize
walkin
walkin
but I walk this rudder down
I leave up to you
waking
braking
as I am lending it I am lending in your arms
do Ya do Ya this thing you got I know
do Ya do Ya I think you what to say do Ya
Did you dont know about me
Did you mind nowhere i got to you
you are mine
nowhere I got to you
you are mine
You wanna be dreamed to
Do Ya do Ya
Did you mind that noone wanted you
You are mine I told retracting you
You are mine
Now I come around you get pulsing shot
Your main I am still gonna keep thinking
the dare some fault
You are mine
Always gonna keep thinking for
there is no one your main
your main your sure your sure your sure
You are mine
Do Ya do Ya
Now I came around you get a pulsing shield
Your main I am still on keep to thinking the dare
Some fault
Your main always gonna keep to talking for
there is no one
Your main your sure your sure
Your main.
The lyrics to Dream a Dream by Portless are quite unconventional and abstract in nature. The repeated phrase "Your main" is used throughout the song, which may refer to the main character of the dream or the dreamer's own sense of identity. The dreamer speaks of dreaming a dream that they enjoy, where they encounter creatures and drink from golden cups. They feel no doubt or fear in the dream world, allowing them to pursue their desires and connect with potential partners.
The dreamer then speaks of talking to a lady in their sights and waiting for a gentle kiss. They feel like the person they are talking to is their own, someone who wants to be dreamed of just like they do. The dreamer feels a sense of possession over this person and speaks of being attracted to them. They then go on to speak of neon lights and sparkling water droplets that make everything shine in the dream world.
The dream concludes with the dreamer asserting their ownership over the person they desire and stating that they will continue to think about them. The repeated phrase "Do Ya do Ya" adds to the dreamy and abstract nature of the song, which seems to explore the themes of desire, possession, and self-discovery.
