The Message
Prayer/Life Lyrics

To complaints about your silence
When we cannot stop the violence
Where are you?
God answered, "Write it on the clay
My vision for a future day
Look at the proud, their wealth abounds
They plunder nations
By human bloodshed
And violence on the land
Woe to them, no sorrow's end
God answered, "Write it on the clay
My vision for a future day
The righteous one shall live by faith
The righteous one shall live by faith
Shall live by faith
And then the knowledge of my glory, of my glory
Will fill the earth, will fill the earth
It's not time for it to reach you
But the time is coming soon
For the message to come true, wait for it
The Message by Prayer/Life is a song about questioning and seeking answers from God amidst the violence and chaos in the world. The opening lines of the song express the frustration towards God's silence in the face of the atrocities happening around us. The singer eagerly awaits a response and seeks answers to their complaints. God's response comes in the form of an instruction to write down his vision of the future, where the proud and wealthy continue to lead a life of greed and plunder, causing destruction and chaos.
The song then takes a prophetic turn as the tone shifts towards a message of hope. God declares that the righteous ones shall live by faith and that in due time, the knowledge of his glory will fill the earth. The singer encourages the listener to hold on and wait for the message to come true, implying that things may seem bleak now, but there is hope for a brighter future.

I am actually an intercessor and I have a personal prayer life, I also lead prayer corporately at my church often and I also lead a prayer team. I haven't felt worthy for God to trust me with such a ministry because i have often struggled with prayer. My Pastor told me when i was a baby in Christ that the enemy would fight me tooth and nail. Pray for me that I stop running and settle to read daily and pray in the holy spirit daily. I cry alot because of this, please pray for me. Thank you, God bless you all. ❤🙏🏽

@Marissa Castillo Thank my sister in Christ for encouraging me in the Lord. I guess it's not so much being worthy to pray as it is wondering how is it that God is trusting me to lead and be over a prayer team!!! Its exciting and scary at the same time but I know He knows what Hes doing, I need to stop looking at it thru the eyes of the flesh, you just reminded me of that, thank you Sis. God bless you fiercely!🙏🏽❤
