This song always reminds me of my children, I went through a bad divorce in 2017, I went downhill fast, making fast money and lost in drugs and drinking. End up in jail facing prison time with a strike, my ex wife found out I started going to church and seeking God, she threatened me to take full custody and never let me see my kids because of my criminal history if I didn’t leave the church. Times of shedding tears and fighting for a new life. I stuck through it, overcame my court case without a day in jail, left a life of smoking weed, using cocaine and meth along with drinking and an empty life to a fulfilled and truly happy life. When no one believed in me, not even my family, I found Someone who did. Now I’m a youth pastor and share my story to anyone who is searching for a way out, no matter how difficult it seems or what you seem to be losing for fighting for a new life, keep going, even if you shed tears of pain in the process, keep going. “Sorrow may last for a night, but joy comes in the morning”. Eight years ago I was in a Hobby Lobby when I first heard this song. I had been feeling lost and far from God for many years and I remember stopping in the middle of the store and just bursting into tears. I kept the words of the song in my heart as I, once again, started looking for a church, a place to renew my faith and try to start again. I now have an amazing church, a wonderful relationship with God and am a ministry leader. I am so grateful for this song, for this band and for the love my Father has for me.

This is amazing! It took me so long to get used to my church. A lot of just sit at sermon and not serve, then serve a little, then I fell away from God and the church. I just went back last Sunday and it’s still the same only getting better because more churches are being planted. What church do you attend?
