I remember seeing these guys in the 90s when I lived in Seattle. It was just after they released their debut album and just before it became huge. I remember having pizza, amazing craft beer on tap, and being blown away at the performance. I really took all that for granted back then. I miss it so much now.

This is one of those mid 90's songs that stick in your mind, so as a kid and now my late 30's I'm "movin' to the country, gonna eat a lot of peaches. I'm movin' to the country, gonna eat me a lot of peaches!".

I did grow up very deep in the Canadian country though, and now live kind of on the outskirts of it, so when the farmers markets come to town - you best believe I know all the best spots to hit to get the best fruit the country has to offer all year 😊 I just wish we had more variety sometimes like countries with warmer climates, but I still can’t complain about our homegrown goodies.

Every time I eat peaches, I sing the first verse and chorus. And every time, my husband tells me I made it up. FINALLY after 11 years, we looked it up and I thoroughly enjoyed the MV! Super fun band! I had the great pleasure of seeing PUSA in Las Vegas a few years ago - in the front section down town Freemont St. At the end they all switched instruments multiple times and kept the music going. Very talented and always brings back good times memories when I hear their songs.

Chris Bellew is definitely a uniquely creative guy, I loved PUSA, I’ve still got the remastered cd in my car, LoL.

I was 17 when this came out on MTV, at first it was fine but then then just didn't stop playing it. And the only reason that was actually a problem for me was that when MTV's most wanted came on every week day, I had my finger on 'REC-PAUSE' waiting for, you know, OTHER music videos . I'd just got me a huge professional video tape recorder (which was not easy for a 17 year old to get back then!) and had nothing else to play on it. I didn't want 35 copies of peaches. I got to see peaches every single week day. I guess people like it. They had GOOD music videos back then!! Peaches video was shot on 35mm film, so... it's hard to really hate it.

That part where he goes, "and dreamed about you. . .woman" just gets me. A song about literally only peaches and they find a way to add sexy appeal. I just came across this music / video by accident and I keep thinking it's high art. Lol.

New Jack Black/Super Mario/Bowser song “peaches” got me hankering for this good ol slice of Americana. I hope it reminds everybody of this song, and creates a massive comeback for PUSA.
