The band was originally composed of the siblings Sole and Juan Luis Giménez, and their friend Pablo Gomez. In the same year 1983, they won a radio contest and their first recording, Danzad, Danzad Malditos, appeared one year later under the RCA label. But the record company forced them to write more commercial songs outside their style, and they left in 1986 to work with an independent label, Discos Intermitentes. Pablo Gomez left the group and Javier Vela arrived to replace him. Later, Nacho Maño replaced Vela.
In 2006 they decided to split ways after Sole Giménez announced her solo carreer. Later in 2008, they included a new voice -Lydia- and made a re-appearance with a new album of original songs called "Sera".

Presuntos Implicados Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
y volveré a empezar
con mirada campesina esperaré
otros vientos, otra estación.
que no sé si tendrán
la ternura que se fue
con la gente que dice adiós.
The lyrics of Presuntos Implicados's song "Actriz" portray the internal struggle of a woman who has to hide her emotions and pretend to be someone else in order to deal with a difficult situation. The phrase "sólo pude fingir con mi boca de actriz" (I could only pretend with my actress mouth) suggests that she is using her acting skills to hide her real feelings, and that she is not able to cry, speak or act as she would like to. The repetition of "si la gente te dice adiós" (if people say goodbye to you) emphasizes the idea that the woman is facing rejection and abandonment, and that she is struggling to cope with it.
The second verse of the song reveals a different approach to the same problem. The woman decides to let go of the pain and the emotions that are holding her back, symbolized by the metaphor of the fishing net. By untying the knots one by one, she is releasing herself from the burden of her emotional baggage. The lines "no hablaré de dolor que no hay nada que hacer" (I won't talk about the pain because there's nothing I can do) reveal a sense of resignation and acceptance that contrasts with the previous verse's emphasis on the need to pretend and hide.
In the last verse of the song, the woman looks forward to the future, but with a sense of uncertainty and doubt. The "mirada campesina" (peasant look) suggests a simpler and more humble attitude towards life, but also a lack of confidence and security. The phrase "la ternura que se fue con la gente que dice adiós" (the tenderness that went away with the people that say goodbye) is an expression of nostalgia and longing for the emotional connection that is lost.
