The band was originally composed of the siblings Sole and Juan Luis Giménez, and their friend Pablo Gomez. In the same year 1983, they won a radio contest and their first recording, Danzad, Danzad Malditos, appeared one year later under the RCA label. But the record company forced them to write more commercial songs outside their style, and they left in 1986 to work with an independent label, Discos Intermitentes. Pablo Gomez left the group and Javier Vela arrived to replace him. Later, Nacho Maño replaced Vela.
In 2006 they decided to split ways after Sole Giménez announced her solo carreer. Later in 2008, they included a new voice -Lydia- and made a re-appearance with a new album of original songs called "Sera".

The lyrics of Presuntos Implicados's song Encadenada depict a story of a woman who is chained to a fate and a destiny that she cannot change. She has surrendered herself to the control of the person she loves, and his lips and will have complete control over her. The person she loves, however, has become a source of pain in her life, who has been the obstacle in her path and the cause of her pain. He has also been the cause of her emotional turmoil and has shaken her to her core.
The lyrics evoke this sense of being trapped and bound by the circumstances of love, where the singer is helpless and cannot escape her fate.
