The band was originally composed of the siblings Sole and Juan Luis Giménez, and their friend Pablo Gomez. In the same year 1983, they won a radio contest and their first recording, Danzad, Danzad Malditos, appeared one year later under the RCA label. But the record company forced them to write more commercial songs outside their style, and they left in 1986 to work with an independent label, Discos Intermitentes. Pablo Gomez left the group and Javier Vela arrived to replace him. Later, Nacho Maño replaced Vela.
In 2006 they decided to split ways after Sole Giménez announced her solo carreer. Later in 2008, they included a new voice -Lydia- and made a re-appearance with a new album of original songs called "Sera".
Ser De Agua
Presuntos Implicados Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
The lyrics of Presuntos Implicados's song "Ser De Agua" talks about the joy of singing and playing music. The song starts with the line "Juan Luis trae cuerdas nuevas, yo ganas de cantar" (Juan Luis brings new strings, I want to sing), implying that musicians are ready to play music and share their joy. As they start performing, the atmosphere inside the space becomes dense and filled with music. The next verse talks about the persona's nature and how he/she is like water. The lyrics say "Si abrimos el balcón del alma, podréis ver que soy de agua, que soy de agua" (If we open the balcony of my soul, you can see that I am made of water, I am made of water).
The following verse uses the imagery of water and wind to describe how different forms of water react to the wind. The lyrics say "Si el agua es de tormenta, el viento empuja, Si el agua es de burbuja, el viento eleva" (If the water is from a storm, the wind pushes it, If the water is bubbly, the wind lifts it). The final verse talks about sharing the music and making the experience enjoyable for everyone. The lyrics say "Hoy sacamos todo afuera, esta partida es fácil, Si la juegas tu, si la juegas tu, Si también la juegas tu" (Today we take everything outside, this game is easy if you play, if you also play). It is a call to the audience to participate in the music and enjoy it together.
