JJ
Priests Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

When I met you you were just a bad attitude
You dated a model one time she stuck her finger in a light socket
About things like that people were always so mean
And rude but I always felt like, "oh Veronika, baby, I think I kinda know what you mean"

I can't believe I always had such awful taste
You were just a rich kid low life in a very big jacket in a very big way
The most interesting things about you
Was that you smoked Parliaments, the babiest cigarettes

I thought I was a cowboy because I
Smoked Reds
I thought I was a cowboy 'cause I
Smoked Reds

You thought I was disgusting
You thought I was disgusting

All the jock frat boys called you a hipster fag
And I think you liked it, I think you loved it
I think you loved it

I wrote a bunch of songs for you
But you never knew and you never deserved them

Who ever deserves anything anyway
What a stupid concept

Estaba escuchando la banda PerfectPussy, y segui buscando bandas y encontre esta maravilla! ❤ Vamonos a los 70's

@Siggorillo

What the ever loving fuck...

@nicoregules

what the heck is happening with that guitar

@DerEchteBold

It isn't handled very skillfully, that's all ; )

@jadesded

Especially with the trem. pedal that makes it sounds dissonant from the bass like STOP. Though the fuzz with the mid boost timbre isn't bad. Just wish someone else was playing the guitar, dude sounds like guitarists I'd play with in highschool.

@FilmBoBaggins211

@@jadesded idk. I disagree. I go with the art of every song from every artist. Personally I like what they are doing

@FilmBoBaggins211

Jts called surf, ya fucking dip

@potatoheadhaoy

Kinda no-wave-y, but it's probably unintentional.
Also, discount Black Francis ding

@TheMrbeasely

I always hate the artsy camera angles. Just show the band. I don't need a closeup of the drummers crotch, the singers lips, the bass players headphones, etc.

@FilmBoBaggins211

Idk, something tells me you'll get over it.
