That's right true PRINCE PEOPLE...I too have been searching for this since I last had a copy of this "12 in '88....I first picked up a copy in December of '85 for my 14th birthday, and was the first young DJ to play it at my jr high school sadie hawkins dance....!!! I am now 49 at the typing of this comment, and this is the first time I've heard it in 33 years...As most of you may know the history behind this song, this was His reply to the Academy of Performing Arts 🎭 for their criticism of him turning down "We Are The World 🌎"....Classy, but FUNKY retort if I may say so myself....We miss you PRINCE...!!!

Sorry to hear that you lost your copy, I originally bought my 12-in LP for the pop life side a, but ended up listening to hello side b much much more, I have always loved and appreciated the whole real reason for the song in the first place,
I know what you mean by searching for a song, I did the same thing with starfish and coffee a couple of years ago, it's now in my daily mix of music, stay purple my friend 😉
