But the multi award winning music genius almost missed this turn in his career. βI didnβt believe in Charlotte when we recorded it, although it was a dope creative process, Lady Zamar wrote it in 40 minutes and the whole process lasted an hour. But it was not my typical sound, in fact it sounded too international. And now how the song just caught fire and dominated the charts was all the convincing and validation I needed to pursue this new direction in my sound.β
Charlotte propelled Prince Kaybee into a special league of dance stars. It has taken him all over South Africa and the UK where he had his Better Days Tour and had revellers at his mercy begging for me. The song picked up the prestigious Mzansi Viewers Choice Awards for Song of the Year. All signs have pointed to a new trajectory for the music man from Botshabelo in the Free State.

Right on time with the latest club incantation
We live for the weekend working up the courage
We pray away, pray away, pray away
The pain on not being in alignment with our dreams
Fetch your life, go on be alive
Ain't nobody living out, yeah
Fetch your life, go on be alive
Ain't nobody living out, yeah
Be someone who's living out, yeah
Fetch your life, go on be alive
Ain't nobody living out, yeah
Be someone who's living out, yeah
Fetch your life, go on be alive
Ain't nobody living out, yeah
Be someone who's living out, yeah
Fetch your life, go on be alive
Ain't nobody living out, yeah
Be someone who's living out, yeah
Fetch your life, go on be alive
Ain't nobody living out, yeah
Be someone who's living out, yeah
Oh well, well, well, well
Well, well, well
All is, all is well, well, well
Well, well, well
All is well, well, well
Well, well, well
Fetch your life, go on be alive
Ain't nobody living out, yeah
Be someone who's living out, yeah
Fetch your life, go on be alive
Ain't nobody living out, yeah
Be someone who's living out, yeah
Fetch your life, go on be alive
Ain't nobody living out, yeah
Be someone who's living out, yeah
Fetch your life, go on be alive
Ain't nobody living out, yeah
Be someone who's living out, yeah
Your eyes are waning like a moon
Like a dream deferred
Whose time has come and gone too soon
We live for the weekend to norm out the damage
We pray away, pray away, pray away
The pain on not being in alignment with our dreams
Fetch your life, go on be alive
Ain't nobody living out, yeah
Ain't nobody living out, yeah
Fetch your life, go on be alive
Ain't nobody living out, yeah
Be someone who's living out, yeah
Fetch your life, go on be alive
Ain't nobody living out, yeah
Be someone who's living out, yeah
Fetch your life, go on be alive
Ain't nobody living out, yeah
Be someone who's living out, yeah
The lyrics of "Fetch Your Life" by Prince Kaybee are about living your best life and pursuing your dreams with passion and determination. The opening lines describe the movement of a person's back in time with the beat of the latest club music, emphasizing the energy and excitement of living in the moment. The song speaks to the universal human experience of longing for something more than our everyday routines, wishing to escape the grind and find fulfillment.
The chorus encourages listeners to "fetch your life," to get out there and live to the fullest. The repetition of the phrase "ain't nobody living out, yeah" emphasizes the importance of individual agency and self-determination. The lyric "be someone who's living out, yeah" suggests that we all have the power to create the lives we want, and that we should strive to be true to ourselves and our dreams.
The verse that begins "your eyes are waning like a moon" speaks to a feeling of disappointment or sadness that can come from not living in alignment with our true selves. The imagery of the moon, which waxes and wanes over time, suggests that we all go through cycles of growth and change, and that we should stay connected to our inner sense of purpose even when times are tough. The line "we live for the weekend to norm out the damage" suggests that people often use partying and other distractions as a way to cope with the stress of their daily lives.
Overall, "Fetch Your Life" is an uplifting song that encourages listeners to pursue their dreams and live with passion and purpose. It speaks to the human desire for something more than the mundane, and tells us that we have the power to make a difference in our own lives.

i completed my matric in 2014, my father passed on 3 weeks before i could write final examination, however i passed my matric with good marks.
the situation forced me to go and work (getting paid R5200 p/m), until last year when i heard this song, i cried and cried; and i resigned from work and i applied for BSC majoring in Chemistry & Mathematics in University of Free State and now i am at school.
