He has been releasing music since 1999 on labels like Merck, n5MD, and Hydrant. He started experimenting with electronic devices at the age of 19, using three thrift store turntables, some tape decks, a few garage sale Casio SK-5s, and some circuit bent bargain bin keyboards. He has released albums, EPs and remixes on labels across the IDM scene and is regarded as one of the early members of the strong US based IDM scene that started around 2000.

Indeed. I feel like Proem was going through a depression making this album hence the track titles and the overall vibe. I've been dealing with depression for most of my life and this album always hits me right in the feels.

@@Digamortis Well I never had a depression, but I think this is because I always try to be as optimistic as I can. When I feel down, I try to build myself up and really it works. Maybe you should try it.
For example, if i feel not good and say to myself, i am strong! Again and again, really it makes me feel stronger, and so on.
So many people underestimate how much power you have over your own feelings, just with words.
As for the music, yes it is somewhat melancholic, but that's what I like about it. :)
