People who are making different choices than the majority.

The majority is almost never wrong...
The idea that just because something is popular, it doesn't mean it's right.

A laughable assertion
An idea that is so ridiculous it's not worth considering.

That there might be some connection
The idea that two things might be related to each other.

Adorn the walls with mirrors and misdirection,
Decorate a place with things that are supposed to deceive or confuse people.

Or let it go
The suggestion to forget about something and move on.

No common thread,
There is nothing connecting different things or ideas.

No ties that bind.
There is no emotional or other connection between different people or things.

Just grasping and clawing to keep in mind.
Trying very hard to remember something or make sense of things.

Historical analysis
The study of past events to understand their impact on the present day.

They play us every vote,
Politicians use tactics to manipulate people into voting for them.

But what contributes more to the whole?
What has a greater impact on society as a whole?

Let's separate and shuffle off this conflict.
Let's move away from the conflict and resolve it peacefully.

The weapons I have will cause suffocation to my enemy.

The maps are divided
Countries and territories are divided by borders.

And each I've traversed.
I have traveled to each of these places.

Alignment influx for better or worse.
The different alliances that are formed can have good or bad results.

Is the drain finally swirling
The end of something is approaching.

Or are we swirling the drain?
Could we be the cause of the end?

The drought is relieved with acid rain.
The situation is made worse by the supposed remedy.
