When the animated band Prozzäk arrived on the scene in 1998, a Canadian musical phenomenon was born. Comprised of the cartoon duo Simon and Milo, their debut album Hotshow, full of infectious dance/pop tunes, followed Simon’s constant and largely unsuccessful search for love. It was a commercial and critical blockbuster going four times platinum, producing five chart-topping videos (including two number ones for “Sucks To Be You” and “Strange Disease”), three top twenty radio hits and five Juno award nominations.
Prozzäk was created by Jay Levine and James Bryan McCollum, two members of the critically acclaimed multi-platinum act The Philosopher Kings. Since then the pair have gone on to become successful musician/songwriter/producers working with Nelly Furtado, Jacksoul and Divine Brown, amongst others. Through their production company, Left Hook Entertainment, Jay and James helped launch the career of pop/rock diva Fefe Dobson by co-writing and producing her platinum debut album.
Jay and James’s use of the Internet was at the time a first in building a strong community of loyal fans and giving the band an arena in which to play with their alter egos. In 2000, Prozzäk released their second album Saturday People that went platinum, producing two more hits, "www.nevergetoveryou" and “Be As.” It would garner them a further Juno nod for best pop album. To celebrate - and having already done a virtual tour for Hotshow - Jay and James went on a full scale sold-out arena tour performing on seven foot heads of Simon and Milo accompanied with additional lasers, pyrotechnics and video projections to create the feeling of being in an animated world.
Here we are in 2005 with Prozzäk’s Cruel, Cruel World close at hand. The reunion of the pair began back in 2004 when Jay and James met to collaborate on a project. Once again the creative sparks flew and the shape of the third record began to materialize. While the sound is updated, weaving the worlds of alternative rock and dance, the songs still have those catchy addictive hooks that we remember - and yes, Simon is still searching for love.
In 2017 they have released a new album, "Forever 99".

Paulina... "Come on Simon feed me"
Milo... Loosen if you feel uptight
Paulina... "Milo you're so crazy"
Simon... Would you like a lovers bite
Paulina... "Why you always tease me"
Milo... 'Cause we want to
Simon...'Cause we love to
Feed the night with lovers moans
With overtures and undertones
With booty bounce and saxophones
Come on come on and feed it
Feed the night with neon lights
With taxicabs and weekend flights
With mini skirts and megabytes
Come on come on and feed it
Your bod is so delicious
Your kisses are nutritious
Your buns are bubbaliscious
I fancy your design
I've got to make you mine
It's dark
It's hot
It's coming for you ready or not dot
Chorus
Feed the night with motorcars
With super dates and pin-up stars
With photo-flash and candy bars
Come on come on and feed it
Feed the night when pleasure calls
With microfilm
And mirror balls
With party girls
And bathroom stalls
Come on come on and feed it
It's dark
It's hot
It's coming for you ready or not dot
Chorus
Your bod is so delicious
Your kisses are nutritious
Your buns are bubbaliscious
I fancy your design
You're mine, you're mine, you're mine
It's hot
Chorus
"Feed the Night" by Prozzäk is a song about indulging in the pleasures of the night. The lyrics are rich in imagery and innuendos, focusing on the different elements that make up a fun night out--from the flashing neon lights and buzzing city streets to the intimate moments shared between lovers. The song begins with Simon beckoning his lover, Paulina, to "feed the night," a phrase that can be interpreted as an invitation to let loose and enjoy the night to the fullest. Milo adds to the playful banter, teasing Paulina and encouraging everyone to indulge in their desires. The chorus reinforces the idea of indulgence, mentioning everything from "booty bounce" and "saxophones" to "taxicabs" and "weekend flights." Essentially, "Feed the Night" is an anthem for living in the moment and soaking up all the thrills the night has to offer.
One interesting fact about "Feed the Night" is that it was released in 1999 as part of Prozzäk's debut album, "Hot Show." Prozzäk was a Canadian pop duo made up of musicians Simon and Milo, who each played fictional characters. The band's music was heavily influenced by synthpop and dance music of the late 90s and early 2000s. "Feed the Night" was one of the band's most successful songs, reaching #11 on the Canadian charts. The music video for the song features Simon and Milo performing in a neon-colored world, surrounded by dancers and other colorful characters.
