Niton
Pryda Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

You are the reason why
Years fly by, and I don't find
The strength I need to grow
I know, I know

Enemies, they stand in line
I'm on my knees, and I can't find
The words I to let you know
I know, I know, I know

You are the reason why
Years fly by, and I don't find
The strength I need to grow
I know, I know

Enemies, they stand in line
I'm on my knees, and I can't find
The words I to let you know
I know, I know, I know

You are the reason why
You are the reason why
You are the reason why
You are the reason why
You are the reason why
You are the reason why

You are the reason why
You are the reason why

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Pryda's song "Niton" express a kind of emotional dependence on another person. The singer is unable to move on from this person, even as the years continue to pass. This lack of growth and progress is directly connected to the person they are addressing, who is "the reason why" they cannot move forward.

The song is punctuated by a sense of helplessness and inadequacy. The singer is on their knees, unable to find the right words to express how they feel. They are surrounded by enemies, which suggests a sense of isolation or loneliness. The repetition of the phrase "I know" may also be significant, indicating that the singer is aware of their own limitations and the power that the other person holds over them.

Overall, the lyrics to "Niton" speak to the human need for connection and the ways in which our relationships can shape our lives. The singer is both helpless and hopeful, unable to move on but also unable to let go of their connection to this other person.

Still his best track to date. At least in his top 3. He throwed it at tomorrowland 2018. Its simply a magical moment for eternity.

@mattfrankster9890

Manuel F. Almeida are you including M.S.B.O.Y in that top three?

@RedDragunee

Oh my.
I still remember buying the original mix of Niton on Beatport back in 2011, and couldn't believe my ears - I was litteraly blown away!

Today it still stands as an absolutely masterpiece. The build up feels so incredibly strong - just when you think the track possibly can't evolve more.. bam

As an independen artist myself, I still envy his original style and unique combination and builds of different sounds.
Godlike - none the less!

This track always gives goosebumps. An absolute fit for running ! The build up till 4:30 is awesome and after 4:30 you feel like God and can run faster than you ever have !
