All beats for the Rydas music are stolen, or used without permission, from mainstream artists such as Nelly, The Godfather and Cypress Hill. If a lawsuit were ever to be filed against them, they would just close down the label and walk. To date, The Rydas remain free from legal action.
As the Rydas, the artists take on the aliases of Bullet (Violent J), Full Clip (Shaggy 2 Dope), Foe Foe (Monoxide), Lil' Shank (Jamie Madrox), Cell Block (Blaze Ya Dead Homie), and Yung Dirt (Boondox).
Compared to their alter egos on Psychopathic Records, the Rydas are unique in that their music is not horrorcore, but gangsta rap.
In 2000, Myzery left Psychopathic Records, hence removing Twin Gatz from the Rydas lineup. Many believed the group would be weakened because of this, but the group remained stronger than ever. In 2001, their second album was released at the 2nd Gathering and was entitled Ryden Dirtay. It featured the remaining five Rydas and is widely considered to be better than the first album.
Also in 2002, Pendulum #7 from the Pendulum comic books was released, featuring 3 Rydas solo songs: What Rydas Do Fo Money?, by Full Clip, and Who Wanna Flex? & I Don't Wanna Die, by Bullet.
Their third album, Check Your Shit in Bitch!, was released in 2004. This album featured "Sawed Off" and "Converse", bringing the Rydas lineup to its highest at 7 members, and featured 13 brand new tracks. Plus, an untitled EP was sold alongside the album at the 2004 Gathering, featuring a song off the album called Scrimps, as well as three exclusive songs. Also, at that year's Gathering the Rydas performed at the Mystery Seminar, minus Converse.
On October 21, 2005, Esham officially left Psychopathic Records, as did Anybody Killa on February 3, 2006, therefore removing Sawed Off and Converse from the lineup.
There are currently 6 members in the group working on a new album in their portable studio while on The Tempest Tour. In a recent interview from Violent J from faygoluvers.net, the title of the new album will be Duk Da Fuk Down, and it is expected to be released sometime in 2007. The new lineup will be Violent J, Shaggy 2 Dope, Jamie Madrox, Monoxide, Blaze Ya Dead Homie, and at the time newly added Boondox.
In the special Gathering 07' addition of Weekly Freekly Weekly on the scrolling text box says one of the new rydas name is Yung Dirt, pointing to Boondox because of the southern roots and talking bout "the red dirt looks like blood" from lyrics on his songs.
In July 2007, the new Psychopathic Rydas video for the song Duk Da Fuk Down was released, introducing the new member Yung Dirt (Boondox). The video shows gangsta rap imagery, continuing the classic and known Psychopathic Rydas themes.

analyzing the lyrics to Psychopathic Rydas's "My Lil Rydas," it becomes apparent that the song is about a woman who is fiercely loyal and devoted to the singer. The repeating line "she a ride or die" is often used to describe someone who will stick with you through thick and thin, no matter the circumstances, and it is clear that the woman in question is exactly that. The singer also emphasizes that she is not interested in playing childish games or running around aimlessly - she is focused on being by his side and making things happen.
The line "about money she go in get it" suggests that the woman is not only supportive, but also motivated and hardworking. She is willing to do whatever it takes to help the singer achieve success and stability, and the repetition of "she my lil rider" reinforces how important she is to him. The final lines of the song imply that this is not a one-sided arrangement - the singer acknowledges that a real rider knows how to handle herself in dangerous situations and also contribute positively to the partnership.
Overall, "My Lil Rydas" is a tribute to a strong, driven, and supportive partner who is truly ride or die.
