Overall Meaning

The first verse in Puffball's "Too Mean to Die" suggests that the singer has experienced a lot of hardship, but he has survived it all. He has been through hell and his life has devolved even lower than that. He has inflicted harm on himself and been left to die in a grim location in Mexico, yet he has remained alive. In the second verse, he states that he has been tied to a chair and withstood torture, and even though he has been through all of this, he is still standing. The third stanza serves as a continuation of the trials the singer has experienced. He mentions getting punched and poisoned, even attacked by the child of the devil himself.
