The three man band, Puggy, plays a whole new kind of acoustic rock that proves that you don’t need an entire orchestra to get the ground shaking. Possibly thanks to their English, Swedish, French influences that range from 1920’s New Orleans to 21st century metal. Matt’s broken and smooth voice (yes, they're opposites) go perfectly with his dry little guitar riffs and give the band a seriously groovy sound that gets the band going. His part of the puzzle could only be completed with Romain and Ziggy’s rythm section. Though Ziggy makes a point of being seriously harsh on his drumset, there’s more to it than just hitting the thing, he manages to make it go perfectly with Romain’s wicked bass slapping and tapping.
There isn’t a band today that has the experience, influence and originality of Puggy, and they're only starting.
Their first record "Dubois died today" was released in June 2007. Puggy being a live band hit the road big time to promote it. They toured Europe for a month with american band Incubus, opened in Bercy (France) for the Smashing Pumpkins, did a whole french tour with Fiction Plane and headlined their one shows in England, France and Belgium.
They are currently working on their next album. Some tracks are already being played live.

Do you like the song of what I say
Do you like the song of what I say
I do I do I do
Would you like to know
How we could feel
Would you like to know
Would you like to feel
How we could feel
I do I do I do
But time will pass along the way
And laugh at us the way
It laughs at every day
Time will pass along the day
We laugh at all the ways
We loose it all the same
Would you like to know
How this all went wrong
Would you like to know
How this all went wrong
Would you like to know
How this all went wrong
I do I do I do
Would you like to know what he forget
Forget what you forgot and not regret
Forgive me if I sound a little dead
I do I do I do
We loose it all the same
We loose it all the same
We loose it all the same
We loose it all the same
The song "I Do" by Puggy is a heartfelt expression of love despite the inevitability of time passing and things going wrong. The repetitive chorus of "Do you like the song of what I say, I do I do I do" creates a sense of consistency and stability in the shifting emotions of the verses. The lines "Would you like to know how we could feel" and "Would you like to know how this all went wrong" give the sense that the singer is reflecting on the past and trying to make sense of their current situation.
The theme of the permanence of loss is also present in the lines "Time will pass along the day, we laugh at all the ways, we lose it all the same" which suggest that no matter how hard we try, we cannot escape the inevitability of time and loss. The final verse "Would you like to know what he forget, forget what you forgot and not regret, forgive me if I sound a little dead, I do I do I do" speaks to the idea of letting go of regrets and mistakes in order to fully embrace love and the present moment.
Overall, "I Do" is a powerful and emotional song that highlights the human experience of love and loss, and the importance of living in the moment and letting go.
