Their second album, Utopia, was released in 1999 through Aquarius Musikindo. Because of personal and business reasons, Pure Saturday was mostly inactive for several years, culminating in Suar's departure in 2004. After unsuccessful auditions to find a suitable replacement vocalist, Satria "Iyo" NB, the band's manager, eventually filled in during rehearsals.
With their new lead singer, Pure Saturday released their third album, Elora, in March 2005 through FastForward Records.

Pure Saturday Lyrics

tersamar terlihat lembut
menanti gerak kabut pagi
tanpa awan, tanpa terang
terduduk tenang di bangku taman
setelah lelah nikmati malam
mata terpejam berbaur dengan rasa kantuk yang dalam
adakah hari lain
semua takkan berubah
siang, saat debu panas menghantam muka
yang penuh peluh menghantam luka
The opening verse of Pure Saturday's song "Di Bangku Taman" sets a calm and melancholic tone with its description of a soft, muted yellow light shining through foggy morning air. The singer sits quietly on a park bench, waiting for the mist to clear and the day to truly begin. There is a sense of resignation in the lyrics, a feeling that time passes whether or not we are ready for it. The second verse speaks of exhaustion, of needing to rest after a long night. The singer closes their eyes and begins to drift into a deep sleep, the world around them fading into a dreamlike state.
The chorus brings a subtle change in tone, as the singer wonders if there will ever be a day when everything stays the same. The line "adakah hari lain / semua takkan berubah" can be read in a few ways - it could express a longing for stability in a world that is always changing, or it could be a resigned acceptance that nothing can ever stay the same. Either way, there is a sense that the singer is struggling to find their place in a world that is always in motion.
The final verse returns to the physical world, describing the heat and dust of midday. There is a sense of pain and struggle in these lines, as the heat beats down on a body already bruised and wounded. The song ends on this note, leaving the listener with a bittersweet sense of the passing of time and the fragility of human life.
