Cuz dad used to beat her every day and mistreat her
The boy's father was abusive towards his mother, both physically and emotionally.

He hates his father but it's all he has left
Despite his father's abuse and neglect, the boy still loves him because he is all he has left in terms of family.

He doesn't want to live because he's afraid of death
The boy does not want to continue living in his current situation, but is afraid of dying.

But maybe he think that he'd be better off dead
The boy believes that his life would be better if he was no longer alive.
