In Only Seven Days
Queen Lyrics

Monday the start of my holiday
Freedom for just one week
Feels good to get away ooh

Tuesday I saw her down on the beach
I stood and watched a while
And she looked and smiled at me

Wednesday I didn't see her
I hoped that she'd be back tomorrow
And then on Thursday
My luck had changed
She stood there all alone
I went and asked her name
I never thought that this could happen to me
In only seven days
It would take a hundred or more
For memories to fade

I wish Friday would last for ever
I held her close to me
I couldn't bear to leave her there

Saturday just twenty four hours
Oh no I'm going back home on Sunday

Ooh so sad alone

I can totally understand why John didn't write anymore songs after Freddie died. Only Freddie can deliver the special emotions of John's songs. They become even more special when Freddie sang the lyrics, no matter how simple they are. Simply beautiful. Freddie said that he liked singing John's songs.

itsme 111 - Most of John's songs were about friendship and love or very personal emotions that people could easily relate to like My Life has been saved or Spread your wings. One Year of Love is amazing. He was an amazing songwriter and musician. I can see why Freddie loved singing them and also why Deacon decided his own voice was silenced with Freddie gone.

We'll never forget you, Freddie! You're still the best singer in the whole world.

What a beautiful smooth song, so pretty. Wish there was a real live version of Queen doing this song.

Love this song; too bad there isn't a video where they are actually performing this song. Queen = wonderful.
