Formed by singer Katie Jane Garside and guitarist Crispin Gray, they had previously collaborated in the celebrated but short-lived band Daisy Chainsaw. Garside and Gray did not cross paths again until 1999 when they formed Queen Adreena. An album, Taxidermy, soon followed in 2000. Pete Howard, the last drummer to play with The Clash, joined just before the band signed with Rough Trade for their second album, 2002’s Drink Me, featuring the lead single "Pretty Like Drugs." Queen Adreena toured extensively in the UK and Europe. Their third album was released in 2005: The Butcher and the Butterfly.
Ride a Cock Horse, an album of mostly unreleased material from the Taxidermy era, was only available from MySpace www.myspace.com/queenadreenafrance in 2007.
In 2008, Queen Adreena released their final album Djin in Japan with a UK release the following year. They disbanded in 2009 due to Katie Jane Garside pursuing other projects.
Medicine Jar

I said wake him up
My baby talks in his sleep
I said.....
She's out on good behaviour
Even daddie's love won't save her
I'm bound in his reflection
We drink his mother's milk with conviction
My baby cried on the cross as she bled him dry
My baby talks in his sleep, god damn,
I said wake him up
I said wake him up
Drink ocean deep there's plenty
Oh baby go to sleep it's empty
I said my prayers in the medicine jar
He's suddenly calm
He's sudd....
I dry my tears
I hide my fears
I drown in arrears
In the medicine jar
The medicine jar
Yeah
The medicine jar
The medicine jar
(My baby's cyring
My baby's crying)
The lyrics of Queen Adreena's song "Medicine Jar" depict a dark and twisted relationship between the singer and her partner. The first verse reveals that the singer's partner speaks in his sleep, which may indicate that he is revealing his true thoughts and desires subconsciously. The singer wants to wake him up and confront him about his unconscious thoughts. In the second verse, the singer seems to be talking about someone who is out on parole or probation, possibly herself or her partner. She suggests that even her father's love won't be able to save her. The lines "I said my prayers as I suck on the medicine jar" imply that the singer is using drugs to cope with her situation.
The following verse talks about how the singer feels trapped in her partner's reflection and is drinking his mother's milk with conviction, which could be a metaphor for being completely devoted to him. The line "My baby cried on the cross as she bled him dry" suggests that the singer might have betrayed her partner in some way, causing him pain. The chorus repeats the line "My baby talks in his sleep" and the singer's desire to wake him up, emphasizing the theme of hidden desires and unspoken truths. The final verse talks about the singer's emotional struggles, and she drowns in her pain with the help of drugs in the medicine jar.
Overall, "Medicine Jar" portrays a very disturbing and dysfunctional relationship, where both the singer and her partner are struggling with deep-rooted issues and are unable to communicate with each other honestly.

Anyone know what she's saying at the start of the song? Ahhh ahhh ahhh ahhh then it sounds like she's saying voodoo mella. Lyrics online do not have this line in them, as far as I can find.
@YGnoticeme
The Void sounds like "go to bed, love"
