in this song is portrayed as a savior, a miracle, and the king of the impossible. He is capable of saving everyone, including men, women, and children, from the intergalactic upsets that are occurring. The only person with any explanation for these upsets is Doctor Hans Zarkov, who used to work at NASA. Despite the unprecedented solar eclipse that has occurred, Flash remains calm and capable of saving everyone with his mighty hand. When General Kala declares that Flash Gordon is approaching, she also orders all weapons to be fired and the war rocket Ajax to bring his body back, showing the danger Flash faces. Flash's courage is that of a human being, and while he may seem like nothing but a man, he cannot fail. However, only those who are pure in heart can find the Golden Grail, which could represent the salvation that Flash brings to the universe. In the end, Flash is told that he only has fourteen hours to save the Earth.

We used to have this on the jukebox in the pub about 20 years ago, and my friend and I would put it on. Everybody else would get really excited that we'd stuck some Queen on, then the beat would kick in and they'd be furious. My friend and I loved it though.

I've just found a notebook with a few tracks scribbled in it, including this. There's a date at the top of the page and it reads "good session on xfm 03/01/2003". If you were dancing to it in 2002 it was probably a white label promo. Stay well fellow human.
