Their debut album "Volume I" (RD: December 12, 2008) reached gold status in Germany. It produced their first single "No Smoke" and "I Can't Stop Feeling" (RD: February 20, 2009). "Too young" (Bonus track of "Volume I - Deluxe Edition" from June 26, 2009) did chart position #5 in Germany.
In May 2009 Queensberry did start to work on their 2nd studio album, "On My Own". The 2nd album's release date was November 6, 2009, with the promotional single "Hello (Turn Your Radio On)" released October 23, 2009. In early 2009 Queensberry served as an opening act for "Pussycat Doll's World Domination Tour" in Germany and some European countries.

Queensberry's song No Smoke is a song about a woman who has been lied to by her lover. Gabby und Vic hatten meiner Meinung nach die besten Stimmen.
Vic hab ich für ihre Stärke bewundert. Die arme hat ja während der Popstarsstaffel ihre Mutter verloren.
Anstatt in Trauer zu versinken hat sie weiter für ihren Traum gekämpft und sich einen Platz in der Band ergattert.

Ne ne, es gibt ein Interview, das die Produzenten das gezielt für die Quote genutzt haben. Klar kam Vici zurück, weil ihre Mum an sie geglaubt hatte und sie selbst es schon so weit schaffte, aber Popstars und auch Pro7 haben dies einfach nur widerlich ausgeschlachtet damals.
Wie würdest du denn reagieren, wenn ich dir vor laufender Kamera erzählen würde, das deine Mum gestorben wäre. Du wärst auch zusammengebrochen...

@@fadilnezirevic6768 Rs ist ihr nicht vor laufender Kamera gesagt worden. Man hat als sie schon weg war Detlef Di Soost zu den anderen Mädels unter Tränen sagen sehen, dass Vic weg ist, da ihre Mutter ganz plötzlich gestorben ist. Man hat sie dann "erst" nach ihrer Rückkehr darüber sprechen hören.
