The Balkan hip - hop/ r&b project R&E a.k.a Rumanetsa and Enchev awarded by BBC for most popular duet in 2007, now goes International. R&E have celebrated their tenth anniversary of their successful musical career in 2007 and were the first hip-hop band from Bulgaria to appear on MTV. Together they have had over 1800 concerts, four albums ( Rumanetsa and Enchev 1, 2001; Rumanetsa and Enchev 2, 2003, the extremely successful third album “Ethno”, 2006, Together Forever (The Best) - 2008). Their 2000 record, when their song Pipni me tuk (Touch me right here) was played 800 times per week over a period of three months, has remained unbroken.
Winners in three of the most prestigious contests in Bulgaria and holders of many other awards they have become idols of the young generation, and even recommended and approved by parents! R&E are a Bulgarian and a Romanian and are said to be the fastest rapping artists in Europe.
In 2007 they did the voiceover for the cartoon “Arthur and the Minimoys” made by the world famous film director Luc Besson and in 2010 they did the voiceover for the famous cartoon movey "RIO".
The guarantee that R&E brand sells are more than 20 commercials they took part in for brands like: Nestle , Nokia, Vivacom, Chippi, Madok, Happy,Raffy- ice creams.
The boys made up their own musical style and public image with their attractive hairstyles that impressed even Wesley Snipes. In their personal life George Enchev is an economist, member of the boards of Music author (the author’s society) and Prophon -( the producer and artist’s society) and Andrian Rachev is a lawyer.

After releasing one of the biggest hits of the last summer Burn (nominated for the MAD Video Music Awards Greece), R & E a.k.a Rumanetsa and Enchev are making another huge step. They have made their first and so far biggest projects ever with the famous Turbo B from the well known band from the 90s - SNAP!. The song called Don’ cha know is a powerful mixture between a very sexy Holland singer and the rappers . Her name is Miss Romagna and she is said to be one of the promising stars of all Holland. The song reached number 1 in Bulgaria, 1sh place in Turkey and is in top 10 in Ukraine.

Originally the idea for the project came after Turbo visited Bulgaria for a tour organized by Select Music Media, the Music Company of R&E a.k.a Rumanetsa and Enchev. He came to their studio and heard a demo of one of their projects to come. After three very long busy months the magnificent four managed to gather in one place and shoot the video for the single. As making this kind of international production, R & E decided not to hold any effort, so they can offer something that has never been made in Balkan countries, and something that will impress the viewers in Holland and US, where the video will be promoted.

In the period 2006-2007 the duo has endorsed a number of international and local brands. They have endorsed and participated in the campaigns of UNICEF, the Council of Europe and the State Agency for Youth and Sports. They have supported anti-drug and anti-violence campaigns. Rumanetsa and Enchev are active social and public figures, respected by colleagues and partners as well as by the general public.
CONCERTS

Concerts are R&E’s specialty ! They have been on one stage with names like: Rihana, Haddaway, Snap, Dr. Alban, Down Low, Arash, ,. They have had over 1600 concerts ( clubs. private, open areas, even on stadiums). R&E alone filled the biggest hall in Bulgaria National Palace of Culture (6000 people) with a live band and more than 30 different type of dancers and comedians for their 10th anniversary .
The boys perform live in different versions from dancers, musicians,video screens and e.t.c.to accoustic version - only voice and guitar , depending from the place and idea of the event. The performers have rich experience in hosting of many shows like karaoke , beauty and dance competitions and more.

Rumanetsa and Enchev transfered the experience and prestige gained over the years in their music business, creating their own label, Select Music Media, in 2004. Their aim is to discover and develop the talent of young Bugarian performers. The company has a short but rich musical history: numerous published albums and compillations add up to a great amount of original music and hunders of organised concerts. SMM has worked both with young and established artists and is an active member of all local and international industry organizations.
