Despite my academic struggles, I still find solace in my hobbies and interests.

My parents impose limitations on me and take away things I enjoy when I don't meet their expectations.

If anything unfortunate happens, my parents would resort to calling the police on my behalf.

When under stress or adversity, it becomes more difficult to choose the morally correct option.

I am confronted with a tough decision that may lead to success or calamity.

I am conflicted and unsure of what choice to make.

I dislike my therapist and find the sessions unhelpful, as they cost $350 an hour and don't identify the underlying issue.

He can't - figure out, what's wrong - with me
I feel unseen and unheard by my therapist, who is unable to provide me with meaningful insight.

Dumbass - girlfriend, fuck my friend - she's a ho
I am hurt and angry that my friend and girlfriend have betrayed me by cheating on me with each other.

I tried telling - mom and dad
I attempted to confide in my parents, but they were not sympathetic or engaged in my struggles.

But they're more concerned - with the poor falling out
My parents care more about the less fortunate facing hardships rather than my own personal issues.

Now I'm in with - the negotiator
In my dream sequence, I am interacting with a negotiator.

And he says to me (you don't want to die boy)
The negotiator is trying to dissuade me from making a hasty decision that will lead to my death.

My potential is recognized by the negotiator, who believes that I am capable of achieving great things.

(You'll do great things in your lifetime)
The negotiator sees potential in me and wants to give me the chance to fulfill it.

I screamed no!! I beat his ass
I am resistant to change and the negotiator's message, instead lashing out violently.

He turned around, I seen his wings
In a surreal moment, I witness the negotiator revealing their true nature as an angel, with wings.

And just then, the bell rings
I am jolted awake from the dream sequence when a bell rings in my actual school surroundings.

I was in school, it was just a dream!!
The entire preceding stanza was revealed to be a dream sequence; I wasn't actually engaged with a negotiator or angel.

It won't be long...
I am aware that time is fleeting and that decisions can have lasting consequences.

Fly or die! sink or swim!
I am confronted with a difficult choice that will be crucial to my future success or failure.

Which one shall I choose?!?! (yeah!)
I am desperate to make the right decision but am uncertain which path to take.
