Out of Sight
R.E.P.L.I.C.A Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Betty Bunion was a strange little fish
She could teach a boy a thing or two
Just grab an ankle and you can make a wish
And she can fly you to the moon
Sweet Sally Seagull was a gypsy and a tramp
I wouldn't know but I've been told
Once you get in there it's a little cold and damp
Ain't the kinda woman you can hold
To the left and to the right
Nothing in between
Out of mind and outta sight
Lost inside a dream
Mother Mary Maple's been sleeping with the lord
Never seen a woman so confused
If you should ask me I'd say that she was bored
Never seen a bible so abused
To the left and to the right
Nothing in between
Out of mind and outta sight
Lost inside a dream
Penelope the Pirate was a pin ball machine
She had two triggers on her hips

You could play her all night and never find the seam
Just make sure the balance never tips

Overall Meaning

The song "Out of Sight" by R.E.P.L.I.C.A is a mysterious and eccentric piece that seems to be telling the stories of some unconventional women. The lyrics describe Betty Bunion as a strange fish who can teach a boy a thing or two, and who can fly someone to the moon if they grab her ankle. Sweet Sally Seagull is a gypsy and a tramp who is said to be cold and damp, and not someone you can hold. Mother Mary Maple is a confused woman who has been sleeping with the lord, and who has abused the Bible in some way. Lastly, Penelope the Pirate is described as a pinball machine with two triggers on her hips, which can be played all night without ever finding the seam.

The lyrics of "Out of Sight" are open to interpretation, as they seem to be portraying these women as otherworldly and mysterious. The imagery of flying to the moon, being cold and damp, sleeping with the lord, and playing a pinball machine all night creates a dreamlike atmosphere in the song. The repeated line "to the left and to the right, nothing in between" adds to the mystical feel of the song, as if the women are beyond the normal bounds of reality.

Overall, the song "Out of Sight" is a strange and haunting piece that uses surreal imagery to create a sense of mystery and intrigue. The women described in the song are unconventional and enigmatic, seemingly existing in a world that is beyond our understanding.

When i was working in Qatar ,the place i worked started a new business in a new place under the same company

they started making solar panels batteries other stuff for them , i went there to just to look at stuff and realize they don't have enough people and machines !
but i thought to myself there is still months before they start the factory !

but when the time came i was shocked, they were importing everything from China product and the box's and they all say "made in Qatar" the product was wrapped in individual bubble bags in shipping containers and another shipping container had all the box's they just take the solar panels with the bubble bag and put them in boxes

i ask a guy wtf is this ,he said it's normal and show me photos of some other things from a US company that are also made in the same place !
i looked in the net the webpage had a big US flag and "proudly made in the USA"

these parts are most likely from a similar place were they make parts for the real ones !

I know someone who spend a lot of money engineering a carbon fiber part with a patent design. He had them manufactured in China and watched the process. When the shift was done, a whole new crew came in and started making more. He said what's going on and the head guy in China says, those are our parts. Complete patent fraud but he doesn't have the money to fight China's patent infringement situation. This could be the same thing.

There aren't really any laws protecting foreigners getting things produced in China. According to their laws, they own it now. They did this to the USA with wind turbines too, very interesting story.

The real thing is made in Michigan from mostly domestic materials made in the factory, (minus the chips and some of the boards) and has some of the strictest export restrictions. I doubt it, but they may have recovered some "misplaced" ones over the years.

@Jake M literally tens of thousands of them were probably left behind in Afghanistan last year.

There is a law in China that any part made there the plans and designs are then owned by the government as a matter of national security. There are no copy right laws only china is right laws

I got my hands on one of their replica acog, rmr bundle and I gotta say I was really impressed, it feels and looks legit. Im in the army so Ive used real acogs and could honestly not tell them apart. The only downside is that it’s a pain in the ass to zero.

You could be my new best friend if you have a link to that

Does it hold zero once you get it? Even when roughing it around? That’s what I’m worried about

@Tactical Wook Same here.

Was looking for a full review after the Acog replica and or the EOTECH w/ magnifier had been used for a while. Did you post those somewhere else? I am subscribed and don’t see any. Thanks.
