The group also originally counted other MC's in their number, including Eros and Kalista, but the current trio was the one that signed a deal with Dawn Raid Entertainment and dropped their agressive self-titled debut LP in 2004 on the label's offshoot, Clientele Records. Produced entirely by Nate D, the album included the singles "Triumph", "Bad Muthafuckaz", and "Silence of tha Beef" and while it was critically acclaimed, did not garner much public attention.

More recently R.E.S. have left Dawn Raid and in April of 2007 signed a deal with indie giants Breakin Wreckwordz. They are currently in the studio working on their second album, currently slated for release in early 2008.
