What is '5G'?: 5G simply refers to the base transmission frequency. 5GHz. 4G uses 4Ghz. 3G usea 3GHz and so on.

Is '5G' dangerous?: No. Em radiation is not physically damaging to cells until it reaches the Ultraviolet frequency. See any bottle of sunblock.

Why are they building new '5G' Towers?: Higher frequencies have significantly more difficulty passing through or around walls and objects (the reason early cellphones dropped calls so frequently).

The explosion in computing power along with low power filter and amplification tech, gave phones the ability reconstruct the data with a fraction of the signal (That is why phone no longer have visible antennas)

5G is an even HIGHER frequency, so far less of the signal is received, requiring dramatically more precise filtering and amplification tech. Completely new equipment is needed to receive or broadcast a 5G signal.

Non-ionising RF is commonly considered to be safe by the public. This is a common misconception.
It's not a conspiracy, it's just gross negligence. RF used by 4G is transmitted intermittently, from towers that face the horizon, so effect to people is limited by downward scatter.

5g small cell towers, will be placed upon lampposts and rooftops etc, transmitting constantly, at a higher power. Massive Input Massive Output (MIMO)

The standards for 4G and 5G have remained the same even though the application for the technology is different.

Since when did it become acceptable to stop trying to prove or disprove theories using scientific ANALYSIS?

If anyone can point me to a study, in which the 5G tech has been tested in a manner that replicates its real world application and doesn't just maintain the current 4G standards, I would be keen to read it.

Until then, probably best not to ostracise people concerned.

It depends on the carrier. The location. The carrier traffic and available bandwidth.

3G speeds are upto 5Mbps
4G speeds are from 6Mbps to 50Mbps
5G speeds are from 60Mbps upto 10Gbps

With 5G, the higher the frequency, the higher the data speeds, but the shorter the signal travels, and the easier the signal is scattered, deflected or disrupted, when coming in contact with a buildings or objects.

T-mobile use a lower frequency, so speed caps at less 1Gb, but low frequencies travels further and pass through objects easier. (Better overall coverage but lower speeds)

AT&T and Verizon use high frequencies, so insanely high data speeds, but require more equipment infrastructure, closer together, since high frequencies do not travel far and scatter easily. This method of 5G is only viable in densely populated cities.

i've never heard of a robot that gives you a 00.1% of getting radiation but i don't know everything. but to semi answer the question i don't think even with all these devices/transport it could produce enough wats to do (serious) harm to the brain unless the person (may) have a very serious underline defect that it could cause harm simply cause the wats are being exothermic and there there not focusing on one particular thing like how a microwave is, it's compact so all the rads are being focused on the food and the metal on the sides are bouncing off the rads so they got through the food but thats besides the question. the rads are going out so they can't be focusing on anything such as your brain. but cars and computers can't make it produce enough wats to cause damage certainly cause it cant reach 700 wats because its not focusing on anything

Something this video has been remiss to mention and that is the effects that 5g at the 60ghz range has. Oxygen is particularly "sensitive" to 60ghz electromagnetic radiation in that it's electrons become especially energised to the extent that it alters their spin. When this happens it affects oxygen's ability to bind with iron. If oxygen cannot bind with iron then it also cannot be absorbed into our bloodstream because that is how we absorb oxygen, due to it's ability to bind with iron which basically carries oxygen around our bodies in a protein called haemoglobin. Therefore, 5g at 60ghz may affect the absorption of oxygen into our bodies. It would be fair to say that that represents a serious health concern that definitely needs to have extensive investigations if these frequencies are to be used to a very high degree throughout densely populated areas. No such extensive studies have been carried out, yet there is a massive push to rollout this technology. Surely this is seriously irresponsible. The historic ignorance of chemical chirality and the dire consequences of that ignorance comes to mind.

You have some good points but forgot to mention a few variables, like yes a cell phone produces about 1 watts of power but we encounter the frequencies from multiple devices on average everyday. We encounter radiation from multiple cell phones and 5G towers, routers/modems, smart home devices such as Apple Home Pod and Google Home Mini as well as laptops, gaming consoles and streaming devices. Added up this builds a complex web of 4G and 5G radiation included bluetooh and other wireless transmission networks, multiplied over time can be detrimental to the body.

While it is true that your cellphone puts out very low power, the towers/ transmitters require much more power than do 4g, LTE etc. Proximity becomes an issue. As more and more towers are installed, our proximity to these transmitters will expose us to more intense fields. Radio waves attenuate rapidly as you move further from the tower. The waves get physically larger so have less of impact to those materials they are passing through. The closer you are to the source, the shorter the wave lengths and the more transitions those waves make within the body, creating at least some measure heating. There is no doubt that this will have some impact on the human body. Considering both proximity to and duration of exposure, the effects could be quite significant!

It does attinuate pretty rapidly as you move away from the source but since most of us are joined at the hip with our cell phones, the potential is greater for some sort of effect

Funny. I’d thought that the constant pinging to the tower, what, every 15-25 seconds when talking on the cell phone or using any data was the bigger issue. Thanks for explaining the science behind this. Different frequencies fall on the spectrum of light. You have completely safe radio and micro waves, visible light and the slightly harmful Ultra Violet(UV) light (harmful because it causes sunburn), then you have xrays which are more dangerous (that is why doctors leave the room when taking an X-ray scan) and then you have gamma rays which is the really harmful radiation that you think about when you hear the word radiation in movies, tv, etc. 5g towers and mobile phones use micro waves which are incredibly harmless and are transmitted from quite a few appliances in the household at, like the infographics show said, very low power. This means that no damage will be caused at all.

So you're saying Microwave Radiation is safe? Go rip a hole in the center of your microwave in your kitchen and turn it on for a few minutes while standing directly in front of the hole, then. All radiating energy waves can be dangerous as their frequency or intensity rises. Even visible light can be damaging. Obviously the spectrum has no "safe" zone except when you limit exposure. The way this is going shows that people are using the spectrum more and more and 5G is just proving we have a demand for more than the previous 1-4G was able to give out. 1 X-Ray at your dentist or doctor's office per year is safe. 1 X-ray per day is unsafe. using wifi at your home is safe, but a thousand times that wifi at peak usage while within a few feet of all the routers, I wonder how much of that is safe?

I work in a town that had half 4g and half 5g, and it works like garbage. Having phone calls in and out of the areas will drop the calls and then say you have 0 service when you should because it's gets caught between the border of the 2 zones. It's honestly a menace and I wish you could turn it off

Heating effect of 5G is higher in bodies containing water (i.e. Human body) in comparison to 4G because 5G operates at higher frequency but this frequency is less than 17 GHz (which is the relaxation frequency of water molecule at room temperature and at relaxation frequency heating effect is maximum). You forgot to look at one factor here; exposure time.
Let's look into this. Both 5g and microwaves generate milimeter waves. Microwaves are about 700x stronger, but the radiation is shielded by the faraday cage. Exposure to that microwave would lead to significant injury in a short amount of time and does lead to unnoticeable damage due to them having relatively weak faraday cages. 5g is 700x weaker, but the exposure time is more than 700x longer.
This raises a serious concern in my book, but I hope some more educated people can contribute to these facts.

I disagree to some degree because I recent did a measurement of those waves coming from the microwave on a newer unit and my device measured in the danger zone from my kitchen and over into the end of my living room. Bearing in mind that this unit is Samsung and is DLC approved.

Since they started putting up more 5g towers around my neighborhood there's been a weird low pulsating frequency that makes me feel weird and makes my cat extremely ill, there's also a higher frequency too. I can here both frequencies. I grew up in the house 37yrs and this only started in the last 2yrs since all the 5g towers went up. Can call me a conspiracy theorist but I know what I've been experiencing. My cat only gets really sick when that low pulsating frequency starts up and the neighborhood dogs bark and whine in a different manner as well. Not to mention my 4g cell phone use to start draining a full batterie life only when the higher pitch frequency hit.

Average power output of a street light is 80 watts but can range from 35 - 250 watts. It's frequency ranges from 430 - 750 trillion hertz. Far higher than the 24 - 90 billion hertz used in the EHF band for 5G. The power output is key.

I'm disappointed in the lack of mentioning the real concern that meteorologist have brought up. The frequency falls into ranges used for picking up rain, therefore a large scale system could blind Doppler radars, dropping weather predictions and severe weather heads up to 1980s levels.

Forgive me if im wrong but im sure every country (ACMA in Australia) has a communications authority which allocates which frequencies each commercial radio can use, power output and location used. I highly doubt they just decided to chuck a few "5g" antennas up and hoped that it didnt interfere with any thing else.

Radar is all different frequencies, same with 3g, 4g, 4gx and 5g. Also cell tower antennas are normally in built up areas or on 100ft agl towers.
Weather radar is normally in a spot that will have minimal interference.

They emit more, normally a few hundred watts, what people have an issue with is not understanding power and em fields, the power is because its an omni directional sectored cell, the EM field emitted is only a few meters from the mast, hence why they are high up, its more dangerous having that 1 watt of power and its em field next to your head than someone standing 10m from a cell.

I would ask you to address those who say even though it is at a lower power than say a microwave, the 24/7 exposure to that lower power over the average human lifespan dwarfs our exposure to heating up our food. Can you address that point too? The other I hear is that cell phone makers hide specific usage instructions in fine print that basically say if you don’t use these devices like we tell you to (which no one does) you may be exposed to a much greater amount of radiation than the UL and the FCC test for. Could you address that point as well please?

1 Watt is low dosage, however it is continuous and in extremely close proximity. This will have an impact on any biological system over time.

Ionizing radio waves can make you sterile but you'll know some things up when it happens. I promise you. I'm pretty sure I'm sterile from being within the red circle (danger zone) of a military LOS antenna during maintenance when someone defeated my tagout and turned the transmitter back on. You will start feeling warm and kinda tingly then you become disoriented. This all happens rather very quickly and I can't speak to what happens after that because I immediately realized what was happening and did the quickest fast break ever away from the 1000 watt antenna. I've not been tested to see for sure but let's just say I was that sailor everyone warns you about telling you to hide your daughter and I've never had any kids, not even a scare.

Some 30,000+ peer-reviewed studies have been conducted in the last 25 years (that's before the 5G rollout!) proving the vast range of harmful effects of EMF/RF radiation. Even the almighty Samsung joined the party in an attempt to prove the opposite is true but in the process shot itself in the foot by producing the results that only confirmed the claims made by the said studies. That's why it it took them 10 years to publish their findings.

BTW, the whole science undelying the wireless technology can't be fully understood by watching a (biased?) 10-minute video.
