In the UK we have vein specialists (Phlebologist) working together with Interventional Radiologists. Our NHS does not have them, so we would choose to pay for this at a specialist vein clinic. We would never consult a Cardiologist about venous issues.

I have issues with deep veins too so I was told this procedure could put more strain on the deep veins and make them worse.

Is that true? Where is your reflux in deep veins? I also have reflux in cfv so wondering what to do. I researched and it says reflux in common femoral vein is insignificant as it's a outflow problem from superficial reflux. Ablation of superficial can fix deep not sure how true
