1. RPM, or Real Pinoy Music, was a Pinoy Pop idol co-ed group from Viva Records, formed in 2010 and silently disbanded a few years later.
2. RPM (Revoluções por Minuto) was a successful Brazilian rock/new wave band formed in 1983 by Paulo Ricardo (vocals, guitar) and Luiz Schiavon (keyboard) with Fernando Deluqui (guitar) and Charles Gavin (drums). Gavin (formerly of Ira!) soon left to join Titãs and was replaced by Paulo P.A. Pagni. RPM was extremely popular between 1986-87, breaking numerous records in the Brazilian music industry and eventually selling over 3 million albums. Among their mega hits were "Olhar 43," "Louras Geladas" and "Rádio Pirata." RPM officially broke up in 1987, and despite several reunions and a few new releases over the years, it has never regained its former popularity.
Estação No Inferno

Iluminam tempos atrás
No passado é uma prisão
Seu retrato, acusação
Outro inverno gela em meu coração
Nesse inferno é sempre a mesma estação
Outro inverno gela em meu coração
Vento frio vem me chamar
Me arrepio só de pensar
No futuro escuro e só
Inseguro voltando ao pó
Outro inverno gela em meu coração
Nesse inferno é sempre a mesma estação
Outro inverno gela em meu coração
Nesse inferno é sempre a mesma estação
No silêncio escuto a voz
São demônios ou somos nós
Sem juízo sem salvação
Exorcizo sua aparição
Outro inverno gela em meu coração
Nesse inferno é sempre a mesma estação
Outro inverno gela em meu coração
Nesse inferno é sempre a mesma estação
In this song, RPM speaks about the difficulties of dealing with the past and the fear of the future. The first verse describes a scene of candlelight illuminating the past, which is now a prison, with a person's portrait as the evidence of their crime. The second verse talks about a cold wind that makes the singer shiver with the thought of an uncertain future. There is a sense of hopeless inevitability as the singer feels stuck in a cycle of seasons, with winter always freezing their heart in an endless inferno.
The chorus repeats the idea that every year feels like the same season of winter and hell, where the darkness creeps in and consumes everything. The bridge introduces the idea of hearing voices in the silence, questioning whether they are external demons or internal ones. The singer exorcises these apparitions in an attempt to rid themselves of the feelings of despair and hopelessness.
Overall, the song speaks to the human experience of feeling trapped in a cycle of negative emotions, whether it's the past, present, or future, and the struggle to break free from those chains.
