When I was a babe I fell down in the holler
When I was a girl I fell into your arms
We fell on hard times and we lost our bright color
You went to the dogs and I lived by my charms
I danced for my dinner, spread kisses like honey
You stole and you gambled and I said you should
We sang for our suppers and we drank up our money
Then one day you left, saying I was no good
Well, all right, I'm bad, but then, you're no prize either
All right, I'm bad, but then, that's nothing new
You say you won't love me, well I won't love you neither
Just let me remind you who I am to you
'Cause I am the one who looks out when you're leaping
And I am the one who knows how you were brave
And I am the one who knows what you said sleeping
I'll take that and more when I go to my grave
It's sooner than later that I'm six feet under
It's sooner than later that you'll be alone
So who will you turn to tomorrow, I wonder
For when the bell rings, lover, you're on your own
For when the bell rings, lover, you're on your own
I am the one who you let see you weeping
I know the soul that you struggle to save
Too bad I'm the bet that you lost in the reaping
Now what will you do when I go to my grave?

When I was a babe I fell down in the holler.
When I was a girl I fell into your arms.
We fell on hard times and we lost our bright colour.
You went to the dogs and I lived by my charms.
I danced for my dinner, spread kisses like honey.
You stole and you gambled and I said you should.
We sang for our suppers, we drank up our money.
Then one day you left, saying I was no good.
Well, all right, I'm bad, but then, you're no prize either.
All right, I'm bad, but then, that's nothing new.
You say you won't love me, I won't love you neither.
Just let me remind you who I am to you.
'Cause I am the one who looks out when you're leaping.
I am the one who knows how you were brave.
And I am the one who heard what you said sleeping.
I'll take that and more when I go to my grave.
It's sooner than later that I'm six feet under.
It's sooner than later that you'll be alone.
So who will you turn to tomorrow, I wonder?
For when the bell rings, lover, you're on your own.
And I am the one who you let see weeping.
I know the soul that you struggle to save.
Too bad I'm the bet that you lost in the reaping.
Now what will you do when I go to my grave?

You know this song just haunted Snow for years. Lucy was the one thing in his life he couldn't exert control over. The one thing he couldn't possess. And for nearly 60 years, the only person who 'betrayed' (in his mind) him and got away with it. In a way, Lucy's ultimate fate in the story is the worst for Snow because he never found out what happened to her and knew she could be out there waiting for the time to strike back at him.

I think it’s deeper than that, she was his only love and the only friend who left on their own terms. You can tell he legitimately had feelings for her, but that he was simply too sociopathic to accept that someone else might have a say in his life. He didn’t kill Sejanus because he felt betrayed he killed Sejanus because Sejanus kept interrupting the life that he convinced himself he wanted, a replica of his father’s. He was all for Lucy Gray until she threatened to interrupt his (or his father’s) life.

Watched the movie highly recommend it and I don’t often say that the 3hrs flew by I was never bored the acting was amazing the songs were emotional and powerful her voice is amazing the movie has a lot of emotion in it this movie moves u. It’s definitely worthy of the hunger games name maybe it’s not the same but that’s the point it’s unique so many twists and turns didn’t know what to expect

Same here! This movie felt like 1h!

Completely agree. Was worried that it would start feeling slow and boring after the games were over but part 3 actually ended up being my favorite part

I agree, went really fast, it's very different from the hunger games, but during the end, it still brought the whole story together
