His music is an incredibly viable answer to the terribly overridden post-WW2 expressionism. It is harmonicaaly gorgeous with very interesting chord progressions which even the modernistic Jazzer did not find. No wonder Boulez looked into the corner while talking to this genius who needs and deserves much more recognition than has come to be.
