Wow...First song I ever danced to as a group from The Lodge School in Barbados.We were called U F O's..Unidentified Funking Objects.Still remember the routine we had from 1982.Big up to a man like Brazian Archer for choreograping!!!

remember Tony Prince playing this on radio Luxembourg u.s . disco billboard charts I think it reached no1 I used to record the show on a old tape recorder then I went out and bought the album on import and played it to death in my bedroom what great times they were

Another forgotten funk classic by Rafael Cameron. I had alomost all his records starting with "Magic Of you" back in the day. Randy Muller of Brass Construction produced all his albums.

Right; sometimes people not familiar with Cameron, think it is cameo, even here on you tube the computer pairs the 2 up alot in the column, he was kind of an obscure artist that appeared near the end of the disco era, sometimes he is listed as a boogie-funk, or Disco-Funk artist, all I know is, up until this venue, his music was cut-out, and nearly impossible to find, I discovered that he was an artist out of Guyanna, and he was produced by one of the members of the American funk group sky, his most famous work was boogie's gonna get you, but my favorites of his was the p-funk material, like this one, in these Cameron really showed out!!!

This sounds a lot like Brass Construction. I'm almost sure it's on 1 of their albums because I think that's where I heard it last. It got a lot of airplay. This guy may have been with them. Cameron was also a funk group that struck the top of the charts several times in 1980 and 1981. I think the name of the 1980 song was Magic of the Funk. The other song in 1981 was more upbeat. I can only remember someone singing, like the way you do what you do.... The synthesizer was played a lot.
