Together, together
The more we get together
The happier we'll be
'Cause your friends are my friends
And my friends are your friends
The more we get together
Oh, the more we get together
Together, together
The more we get together
The happier we'll be
There's Chris and Tanya
And Jason and Jusitn
The more we get together
The happier we'll be
(Ok, are you ready to sing now?)
The more we get together
Together, together
The more we get together
The happier we'll be
'Cause your friends are my friends
And my friends are your friends
The more we get together
The happier we'll be

The lyrics "your friends are my friends, and my friends are your friends" embody the song's central message, conveying inclusiveness and an understanding that we are all in this together.
The song goes on to mention specific people like Chris, Tanya, Jason, and Justin, making the song feel more personalized and real. It further encourages the idea that the more friends we have, the more joy there is to be shared. The song's repetitiveness and catchy tune enable children to internalize its primary message easily.
