Into the Light
Rage Lyrics

So I better use the days I have
Then I take a look around there is so much pain
People run in circles and create their prison
Day will turn to night the devil by your side
Steals the dreams away leave me be 'cause I
And forever it will be alright
And I I step into the light
Death and life are walkin' side by side
Everyone is overwhelmed by their fear for life
Stuck inside a rat race of desires
Lookin' for security that they'll never find
The only certain thing in life is death my dear
Day will turn to night the devil by your side
Steals the dreams away leave me be 'cause I
I step into the light
And forever it will be alright
And I I step into the light
Death and life are walkin' side by side
Day will turn to night the devil by your side
Steals the dreams away leave me be 'cause I
I step into the light
And forever it will be alright and I
I step into the light
Death and life are walkin' side by side because I
I step into the light
And forever it will be alright
The lyrics to Rage's song "Into The Light" speak of the inevitable end to life and the need to use the time one has wisely, without regrets. The singer urges the listener to take a look around and see the pain and even imprisonment that people create for themselves by running in circles. The devil, symbolic of fears and doubts, is stealing dreams away from people. Therefore, the singer steps into the light, as death and life walk side by side.
The message of the song is quite clear, to live life without regret, to cherish the moments we have, and to not let fear and doubt control our lives. The lyrics ask the listener to look beyond the rat race of desires, to find security in oneself and to embrace the impermanence of life. The chorus "I step into the light and forever it will be alright" is a powerful message that suggests that embracing the inevitable end of life is the key to living a fulfilling life.
In conclusion, "Into The Light" is a song that encourages the listener to embrace life and live it with purpose and without regrets. The lyrics are powerful and serve as a reminder that life is fleeting, and one should make the most of the time one has.
