'Samurai's Dream' is the third chapter from Sons of the Dew.
One of the night-y songs of the album, is capable of giving me a multitude of emotions in a relatively short span of time thanks to the evolving melodies carried on by different instruments 🌖
This could have probably last a bit longer but dreams are glimpses in another dimension, and so I wanted this song to be.

It's 12:33 AM. Crunching with a morning deadline. Was genuinely stuck on an issue, and starting to contemplate the consequences of my failure. Part real complexity, part bad luck, part my own fault. The solution came to me during the first chords, and I can't tell you how relived I felt. And... this track just fit that moment so perfectly. Hope and redemption. I don't want to inject my own experiences into the artistic vision, but that's what I'll always feel when I listen to this now.

Kinda bothers me that a lot of music that gets featured on Lofi playlist are 2 mins or so to 3 mins. I use to produce, write and rap music and I hated short music. I always felt like there was more that could be said or done with a track if you just give another 60 seconds to 90 seconds. 2 mins feels like I'm just warming up to the music. But I guess it's a genre thing or some people want that short and sweet feel. It just bugs me though as a producer and writer. One of my tracks I rap with no hook for 5-6 mins straight. I always feel like getting back into producing and rapping. Had over 100 tracks and over 30 songs but not all produced. This is a great track though.

Hey Dr Jonsei, sorry for answering just now ☺️ Thanks for the love! I feel what you mean with your message and I gotta agree with it! I my self prefer longer songs but only when they are not too repetitive as soon as they cross the 2/3 min mark! Lo-fi is itself a quite repetitive & short genre by 'default' so I tried to keep it short and sweet as your said, at least in most of this album :)) Cheers!
