If you worked in the "COVID" unit, then you were more likely just bored as can be, listening to songs on Youtube because the hospitals were empty and you had nothing to do. I didn't know a single person who got sick with anything until people started taking those shots. No coughing, no signs of obviously sick or recovering people in public settings for at least a year of the "pandemic". Shots came, people started actually getting sick, including myself, and I never took one.

I love this song! Thanks to Blondie, I became aware of its existence. I absolutely went crazy with joy the first time I heard this original on radio.

I always love the original over the remake. When I find out a song is a cover, I purposely seek out the original to hear the brilliance that inspired someone else to cover it.

I also find it extremely touching that Randy & The Rainbows wrote a song called, "Debbie" as a thank you to her for reviving interest in their song. They are truly a class act and Randy & The Rainbows will always have a special place in my heart. ❤
