Show Thenns : "I'm gunna eat your dead mama, and I'm gunna eat your dead papa."
Also Show Thenns : "I say we send the Lord Commander back to Castle Black... With no eyes."
Book Thenns : Most civilised, educated and cunning folk of the free folk. Bronze for armors (compared to sheep skin and leather armors for other wildlings), high quality steel and iron for weapons, diplomacy at its finest, sense of dignity and also discipline in war (trained as soldiers among themselves).
Any difference? None at all. Well done portraying them, flawless job.

The Thenns are nasty frickers, but their theme music is so awesome. Those low strings, damn.

They should have made the weeping man a character, A man so fucked up and sadistic the Boltons would look like carebears in comparison.

thenns didnt make steel or iron
they knew how to do bronze instead
besides, it just says its the most civilized and disciplined amongst the free folk, not including diplomacy or sense of dignity

@Gabe Bernhard Did I said it was bad? I don't recall saying this... Btw being advanced and developed doesn't mean you're good. Thenns can be evil and bloodlusted fighters, like many other Wildling tribe. You just missinterpreted what I said.
Gabe Bernhard
Yeah, it would have been so much better your way, where all of the wildings are now sympathetic, thus eliminating the major moral quandary that makes up most of Jon Snow’s character arc for four seasons. Instead they went with a terrible alternative of having some of the wildlings be unsympathetic, even evil, which served the stupid purpose of making the mutiny against Jon Snow more justified given the other changes to the timeline, and showing that the people above the wall have lows just like the people below it.
But yeah, having some of the wildings speak fancy and wear armor would be much better than the extra character depth and justification given.
Oh also they used Thenns for the cannibals in the show really just because the name sounded cool. They were introduced in season 4, back when GRRM was still involved in the writing, so he approves of this change like he approves of all changes. Do you know what adaptation means?

just put this on whenever you're playing as the huns in total war attila.
