1. A ska punk band from Germany
2. A psychobilly band.
1. The German ska punk band was founded by Meissner and Bustorff in autumn 1995 modelled on Bands like Operation Ivy and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones. They immediately decided to sing only in German because Bustorffs English was not that good and he had problems pronouncing the "th". Shortly before that Schottstedt and Meissner played in a Hardcore-Band which kind of emulated the New York style of some bands (like Pantera) at that time. They basically had a yelling singer and some hard guitars. There were other bands like Pitbull, Bullterrier and many more which all named themselves after "aggressive" dogs. To show that this band would be something different the name "Rantanplan" was selected, after the dog from Lucky Luke, which is "sillier than his shadow" and is mostly thinking about getting food.

I love this song, but it also makes me sad. It's just the beginning of him ruling Hollywood for the next ten to fifteen years. Just imagine what he'd have done after this movie became a sensation. He became a world wide movie star like two weeks after he passed away. We missed so freakin much it hurts, and this song was the beginning, just a taste of what was to come that never did.

@manuel Tubens His wife has said the only thing he feared was aging. And unfortunately the only way to defeat it is to leave the ride early. It's great for the legend but not so much for the human. I could see him making the most amazing Martial Arts films, breaking new ground, and them moving into producing and directing etc. Owning a studio someday, he was just scratching the surface. We missed out on much, feel the same way about Jimi Hendrix, so much more music was waiting for him to pluck from the sky. Oh well, at least we have the things they left for us to marvel at. Cheers.

Without a doubt the perfect music in any martial arts movie considering that it's very catchy and energetic to listen to! Add to the fact that it was used in Bruce Lee's most iconic movie makes this piece of music even more iconic and unforgettable!
