Terrorist attacks from England to Iraq
Derelict cruise ships and grounded aircrafts
Militarily tests get and ready for the blast
Fears intensify, numbers triple over night
Fear mongering beamed from a satellite
I don't have a clue about these politics
But if I hear a sniff I think I′m gonna shit bricks
I don't wanna be at war at my door, fuck that
But I'ma stay inside
If it means that I will survive
I don′t wanna be at war at my door, fuck that
But I don′t wanna go outside
Counting out the days I'm still alive
Italy′s A&E and redundant companies
Could be you, could be me hooked up to the machine
I don't know where I′m supposed to go now
See what I mean? Feels like a bad dream
Ain't it mad how we gonna go down in history
Global pandemic, the world took forever
Did they learn anything? What d′you mean? Never!
I don't wanna be at war at my door, fuck that
But I'ma stay inside
If it means that I will survive
I don′t wanna be at war at my door, fuck that
But I don′t wanna go outside
Counting out the days I'm still alive
Counting out the days I′m still alive
Counting out the days I'm still alive
I don′t wanna be at war at my door, fuck that

In "Brave New World," RAT BOY paints a bleak picture of the world's current state and the fear that permeates society. The lyrics describe the threat of terrorism, the dangers of cruise ships and aircrafts, and the constant military testing that could lead to a catastrophic event. The media's fear-mongering exacerbates these fears, causing panic among people who don't fully understand the intricacies of politics. The singer is overwhelmed by the hysteria, feeling that it's like a bad dream and that everything is spiraling out of control.
The chorus repeatedly emphasizes that the singer doesn't want to be at war, but they're willing to isolate themselves if it means surviving. They don't want to go outside and count the days they're still alive, but they're resigned to the fact that this is their reality. The song's overall tone is one of resignation rather than rebellion or resolution. The singer isn't fighting against the state of the world, but rather trying to come to terms with it in their own way.
