Overall Meaning

In Rebecca's song "Nothing To Lose", the lyrics describe the struggles and fears of a woman who used to believe in God, but now feels alone and afraid in the darkness. She feels that something is tormenting her and she imagines that it's coming down from the sky. The singer opens a white door to face her fears, but realizes that there is nothing to lose. She then recounts a night when she was playing in the streets and men showed off money to her, trying to get her naked.
