All That I've Got
Rebecca Ferguson Lyrics
I almost crumbled
I almost fell
I almost gave you everything under your spell
You almost mattered
You almost won
You held my fears and weakness [?]
Took what you wanted
But you're leaving with nothing
I'll carry on, I can
Hope you enjoyed it
But you're leaving with nothing
Nothing, nothing
This war has started
Rivers parted
But I'm gonna face my fears
Give it all that I've got
I'll give it all that I've got
Let the healing start
This war has started
Rivers parted
But I'm gonna cry no tears
Give it all that I've got
I'll give it all that I've got
Let the healing start
I almost stumbled
When you shot me down
You almost got the best of me and stole my crown
The glass was shattered
As it hit the ground
This endeavor enough for you, it's over now
Took what you wanted
But you're leaving with nothing
Nothing, nothing
This war has started
Rivers parted
But I'm gonna face my fears
Give it all that I've got
I'll give it all that I've got
Let the healing start
This war has started
Rivers parted
But I'm gonna cry no tears
Give it all that I've got
I'll give it all that I've got
Let the healing start
This war has started
Rivers parted
But I'm gonna face my fears
Give it all that I've got
I'll give it all that I've got
Let the healing start
This war has started
Rivers parted
But I'm gonna cry no tears
Give it all that I've got
I'll give it all that I've got
Let the healing start
I almost crumbled
I almost fell
I almost gave you everything but you've failed

Ferguson made it all the way to the finals where she dueted with her idol Christina Aguilera performing 'Beautiful'. Ferguson placed second behind winner Matt Cardle, and the same week was signed to Syco Music owned by Sony Music Entertainment. As Songfacts reports, her debut single, Nothing's Real But Love, was released in November 2011, a week before Ferguson's debut album, Heaven, was made available.
Ferguson is a qualified legal secretary, having studied at Hugh Baird College, Bootle. She has previously unsuccessfully auditioned for The X Factor and for P. Diddy's Starmaker in New York but in 2010 she got the chance she had been waiting for and got through to the audition process. She sang "A Change Is Gonna Come" during her initial audition. At her bootcamp audition, she sang "Like a Star" to which Cowell said "That is a recording voice!" and Nicole Scherzinger said, "I told you first time I saw her, she is our generation’s songbird." She sang "Fireflies" at the judges houses stage. For the first live show she sang "Teardrops", in the second live show she sang "Feeling Good" and in the third live show she sang "Why Don't You Do Right?". In the fifth live show, Ferguson received a standing ovation from Simon and Cheryl following her performance of "Make You Feel My Love". In the following episode, Ferguson received another standing ovation from Dannii and Cheryl after singing "Candle in the Wind".
Ferguson's second studio album, Freedom, was released in December 2013.
In 2015 Ferguson released her third studio album Lady Sings the Blues covering a number of jazz classics made famous by Billie Holiday.
She released the single "Uncrazy" on 1 December 2017, a dance song, which moves away from Ferguson's usual style of music.
On 8 May 2020, a single entitled "Nothing Left But Family", and featuring Nile Rodgers, was released.

I almost crumbled
I almost fell
I almost gave you everything under your spell
You almost mattered
You almost won
You held my fears and weaknesses
In the web you spun
Took what you wanted
But you're leaving with nothing
I'll carry on, I'll carry on marching
Hope you enjoyed it
But you're leaving with nothing
Nothing, nothing
This war has started
Rivers parted
But I'm gonna face my fears
Give it all that I've got
I'll give it all that I've got
Let the healing start
This war has started

But I'm gonna cry no tears
Give it all that I've got
I'll give it all that I've got
Let the healing start
I almost stumbled
When you shot me down
You almost got the best of me and stole my crown
The glass was shattered
As it hit the ground
The sands have all ran out for you
It's over now
Took what you wanted
But you're leaving with nothing
Nothing, nothing
This war has started
Rivers parted
But I'm gonna face my fears
