Am I Crazy
Rebecca Lavelle Lyrics

Maybe I'm to blame
I thought I'd see you and it would be the same
When I look at you
Dunno know who I see
It is someone new or just a memory
Days drift by
Sometimes I cry
I always thought that you'd be there
Was I crazy, crazy?
Sometimes...... Its so unfair
Don't know where I am
Don't know where is home
Don't know much at all
But it ain't much fun alone
Guess I'll work it out
What else can you do
Maybe life goes on with one instead of two
Days drift by
Sometimes I cry
I never really understood
I always thought that you'd be there
Was I crazy, crazy?
Sometimes...... Its so unfair
And was I crazy, crazy?
Sometimes...... Its so unfair
In Rebecca Lavelle's song "Am I Crazy," the singer reflects on her relationship and wonders if she was the one to blame. She had hoped that seeing her lover again would bring back the old memories and feelings, but instead, she is faced with a stranger. She is unsure if she is looking at someone new or just a different version of the person she used to know. The days drag on, and she finds herself crying, feeling lost, and alone. She never thought that the person she loved would leave, and it seems unfair that life has turned out this way.
As she tries to come to terms with her situation, she realizes that she needs to work things out alone. Although it is not easy, she acknowledges that life goes on with or without the other person. She remembers the good times they had, but she also wonders if she was crazy to believe that it would last forever. She feels the unfairness of the situation and that she has been left with many unanswered questions.
The lyrics of "Am I Crazy" are simple yet poignant, as they reflect the universal feelings of sadness and uncertainty when a relationship ends. Rebecca Lavelle's soulful voice adds to the emotional depth of the song, making it a relatable and touching piece for anyone who has experienced heartbreak.
