Rebelution kicked off their “Peace of Mind Tour” the day after the release, selling out shows at Philly’s The Electric Factory, The Hollywood Palladium, Denver’s The Fillmore, The Fox Theater in Oakland and Hard Rock in Orlando, FL. The tour made stops in a total of 42 cities across the country.
Summer 2012 was spent supporting O.A.R on their Amphitheatre tour, headlining four amphitheaters in Florida as well as festival performances at Outside Lands, Hangout, Forecastle, Summer Camp, Summer Set, The Allman Bro’s Peach Festival and two performances at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. After completing a Fall tour of the East and South East, Rebelution will be headlining The Hollywood Palladium on New Years Eve, heading to New Zealand for the Raggamuffins Festival in February and headlining their annual Winter Greens Tour around the USA in Feb - May 2013.
Peace of Mind marks the first time Rebelution has expanded beyond their usual self-production enlisting producers Michael Goldwasser (Easy Star All-Stars), Amp Live (Zion-I), Yeti Beats (Kool Keith, George Clinton), Keith Armstrong and Errol Brown (Stephen, Ziggy, Damian, and Bob Marley). The album builds upon the band’s signature style while venturing into new musical genres from the lush strings incorporated into the gentle “Route Around” to the driving guitar and synths throughout “Lady In White”.
Rebelution has developed into a front-runner for grassroots, independent and tour driven music groups. Originally formed in 2004, members Eric Rachmany (vocals / guitar), Rory Carey (keyboards), Wesley Finley (drums), and Marley D. Williams (bass) met in college, while residing in Isla Vista, a popular beachside community in Santa Barbara. It was there that the seeds to Rebelution’s future were planted creating inspiring and engaging music that would leave their listeners with the sense that they have the power to make this world a better place. The band continuously tours across the country, ventured to South America and Europe, and has previously performed at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits among others.

Invasion
Rebelution Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Conquest to kill all they believe in
New destination
Invasion of all they believe in
Eradication
Exterminate all they believe in
Annihilation
Invade their whole world and enslave them
Stripped of their culture
Forced to believe in
Convert the sinners
Change or get beaten
Goodbye to spirits
Accept new demons
No time for questions
Don't ask for reasons
Washed of their faith
Thrown in the fire
Deities replaced
New variations
Wisdom will change
Pure decimation
All for the sake of
Power
All in the name of
Greed
The lyrics of Rebelution's song Invasion describe a dystopian world where a group of people forcibly invade and exterminate the beliefs of another group. The invaders aim to eradicate and annihilate anything that the people they conquer believe in, imposing their own beliefs on them. The chorus of the song emphasizes the ruthless nature of this invasion, which strips the invaded people of their culture and forces them to accept new demons and beliefs without asking for the reasons behind them. The lyrics suggest that the invasion is fueled by the invaders' lust for power and greed, leading to the complete subjugation of the conquered people.
The lyrics of Invasion express a strong message against imperialism, tyranny, and the destruction of cultural and social identity. The song's lyrics can be seen as a commentary on various forms of oppression, such as colonialism, slavery, and cultural assimilation. The lyrics also reflect the idea that beliefs, traditions, and identity are crucial aspects of human existence that should not be attacked or destroyed by others.
Overall, Rebelution's Invasion is a powerful and thought-provoking song that urges its listeners to condemn all forms of oppression, tyranny, and the destruction of cultural heritage.

I love how this could be describing hundreds of different events throughout history and it explains every single one of them
@1boxaholic
You're right. Originally I thought it was about the native American, but this song can apply to many occupations/invasions through out history and even currently.
@julianrojas2722
I always thought it was slavery but it sounds like the holocaust
@julianrojas2722
Just realized how old your comments are
@jahboidb
@@julianrojas2722 well it's an older album now lol but yeah this is surely vague for a reason. Looking throughout history the only way to survive occupation is written into this song
