Rebelution kicked off their “Peace of Mind Tour” the day after the release, selling out shows at Philly’s The Electric Factory, The Hollywood Palladium, Denver’s The Fillmore, The Fox Theater in Oakland and Hard Rock in Orlando, FL. The tour made stops in a total of 42 cities across the country.
Summer 2012 was spent supporting O.A.R on their Amphitheatre tour, headlining four amphitheaters in Florida as well as festival performances at Outside Lands, Hangout, Forecastle, Summer Camp, Summer Set, The Allman Bro’s Peach Festival and two performances at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. After completing a Fall tour of the East and South East, Rebelution will be headlining The Hollywood Palladium on New Years Eve, heading to New Zealand for the Raggamuffins Festival in February and headlining their annual Winter Greens Tour around the USA in Feb - May 2013.
Peace of Mind marks the first time Rebelution has expanded beyond their usual self-production enlisting producers Michael Goldwasser (Easy Star All-Stars), Amp Live (Zion-I), Yeti Beats (Kool Keith, George Clinton), Keith Armstrong and Errol Brown (Stephen, Ziggy, Damian, and Bob Marley). The album builds upon the band’s signature style while venturing into new musical genres from the lush strings incorporated into the gentle “Route Around” to the driving guitar and synths throughout “Lady In White”.
Rebelution has developed into a front-runner for grassroots, independent and tour driven music groups. Originally formed in 2004, members Eric Rachmany (vocals / guitar), Rory Carey (keyboards), Wesley Finley (drums), and Marley D. Williams (bass) met in college, while residing in Isla Vista, a popular beachside community in Santa Barbara. It was there that the seeds to Rebelution’s future were planted creating inspiring and engaging music that would leave their listeners with the sense that they have the power to make this world a better place. The band continuously tours across the country, ventured to South America and Europe, and has previously performed at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits among others.

Lady in White
Rebelution Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Listen you ain't a thing to me
You ain't exactly yourself
Call here and get shut down
Listen I ain't a fool to you, to me, to anyone else
She says I sleep with me tonight
I won't say a thing, I can't even tell a lie
Lady in white resist me your right
So treat me like your own kind
I've been trying to fight my mind against whats real
And I can see the road sign telling me to stop
I'm searching through the hills
Whats that to say I'm a real chump losing it
That's okay cause I know your wrong
Either way I will be ten times better than
Wave your hands, say good bye so long
Watch who your talking to
Watch who your talking to
Watch who your talking to
Watch who your talking to
Surprise, give me a kiss and hold me tight
Just like old times, just a couple lines
My, well you and I are so a like
Tingling in the body, sparkle in the eye
I may not be a saint but I'm sexy
I put you in a daze cause I'm pretty
And I should see the sun but you never let me
Line after line, sometimes to many
So who am I to blame?
I point the finger at a lady I can't tame
She's got me handcuffed, locked up, and chained
And the addiction is the name of the game
Whoa, I'll try to walk away like I know I should
I'll try to slip away like I know I should
I'll try to walk away like I know I should
The song Lady In White by Rebelution seems to be about a person, likely the singer, in a self-destructive relationship with someone he is incredibly attracted to. The first verse introduces this person as someone who tries to test the singer and shut him down, but also someone he can't resist sleeping with. The chorus is addressed to this person, who is likened to a "Lady in White," and describes her as a spark in his life that he is in love with, but who also resists him. The singer seems to be struggling with his feelings, aware that he should walk away, but unable to resist the pull of this person.
The second verse suggests that the singer may be aware that his obsession with this person is something he needs to fight against. He sees a "road sign" telling him to stop, but he is searching through the hills, perhaps looking for a way to justify his feelings or rationalize his behavior. He also suggests that he is willing to be a "real chump" if it means being with this person. The bridge repeats the chorus but emphasizes the addictive and almost unhealthy nature of the relationship. The singer acknowledges that he can't tame this person, that he is handcuffed, locked up, and chained, unable to walk away.
Overall, the song seems to describe a person who knows they are in a harmful and potentially self-destructive relationship but is unable or unwilling to let go. The "Lady in White" is a metaphor for the person who is simultaneously a source of attraction and inspiration but also danger.
